“Le Nid de la Sardine” is a holiday home located in the heart of the village of PLOUGASNOU, in the Bay of Morlaix (North Finistère). Quietly situated at the end of a pedestrian dead end, “Le Nid de la Sardine” has a private garden facing south. All shops are within walking distance (less than 100 m). The sandy beach is 800 m away.

For hiking enthusiasts, the GR 34 is located 400 m from the house. It allows you to enjoy magnificent views in a wild environment, extremely well preserved and protected.

The house is 50 m2.
It has a shower room and 3 rooms:

  • 1 living room with kitchenette, dining room and lounge
  • 1 adult bedroom with a 140×190 bed
  • 1 children’s bedroom with 2 beds 90×190

A cot and high chair can be provided on request.

We rent “Le Nid de la Sardine” week by week.

Prices vary according to the period:

  • Low season: 380€
    from September 2024 to June 2025 (W36 to W26) and
    from September 2025 to December 2025 (W36 to W52).
  • High season: 600€
    in July and August 2025 (W27 to W35).

Tourist tax 2024 : 1,71€ per night per person over 18 years old.

Prices include charges (water, electricity) and cleaning (except for the kitchen area).

Linen not provided.

Dog supplement: 15€.

“Holidays can only be successful when you spend them in a cosy little nest (of the sardine). The house is in the centre of Plougasnou, yet quiet. There is nothing missing to have a good time either inside or in the small garden (with a glass of cider or pommeau of course!). Everything is within walking distance of the house: bakery, butcher's shop, bookshop, restaurant, department stores', fishmonger's, ... No need to take your car to do your shopping. The walks in the vicinity are beautiful and invigorating.

“A superb and charming gite, fitted out with care. We did not lack anything, from the small dishes to the household equipment or the layout of the small garden to be able to have meals outside. The quality of the bedding is also noteworthy. There is no parking space near the house, but you can find a car park near the street or in the church car park. The location is quiet and close to the shops. The convenience of shopping in the village and the proximity of the tourist information office should be mentioned. The documentation in the gite was also very useful. We never go back to the same gite twice but if the opportunity arises, it would be a pleasure; I highly recommend it to my friends and family. We spent a very nice week in this region, where we discovered the bay of Morlaix under the sun.”
